Friday Night Liberty is San Diego’s biggest open FREE monthly art walk! Meet working artists, see performances, visit museums and galleries for free! Don’t miss this month’s performance from one of San Diego’s premiere dance companies in residency at San Diego’s newest cultural mecca at ARTS DISTRICT Liberty Station. Start your stroll in the NTC Lounge in the Dick Laub NTC Command Center at 2640 Historic Decatur Road from 5-9pm.

Malashock Dance
will be showing excerpts from The Engagement Ring – Event 4 On The Spot. at 6:00 and 7:00 PM. In addition to The Art Odessey’s screening of film Anne Wolf - The Ancient Art of Mokume Gane (12 minutes) 5:30 – 7:00 PM, Featured artist Anne Wolf, will be joining a Q&A after the screening. See new works from San Diego watercolor artists and at the OTL Media Lab + Gallery works on finding meaning through imagery, an exceptional show from students at Chaparral High School.

DANCE PERFORMANCES — 6 & 7 PM
Malashock Dance team up with Gabriela Frank to premier original choreography as part of the San Diego Symphony Jacobs Masterworks Series premier of Music in Motion: Dance and the Firebird. Performance at 6:00 PM and at 7:00 PM. Abbe Wolfsheimer Studio at Dance Place 2650 Truxtun Road, Second Floor.

Mini Master-Class — 6:30 PM
Theatre Arts School of San Diego's creative team welcome the public to a sneak peak of what it is like to create a new piece of theatre. In this “Mini-Master Class,” composer Katie Brady will sing from her original score and audience members will get a chance to get up and cold-read from the script. Director Courtney Corey will talk about the creative process. This is a great opportunity for theatre lovers to see what goes on behind-the-scenes of a new musical. Dance Place at 2650 Truxtun Road, Studio 205, Second Floor.

WATERCOLOR & MUSIC — 5:00 - 8:00 PM
San Diego Watercolor Society Opens the March Member's Show, March Goes
