The San Diego Watercolor Society is pleased to announce the February Member's Show, "Passionate Paint" Juried by award winning artist, Joan McKasson. Joan is a nationally recognized watercolor painter, juror and enthusiastic, inspirational instructor of creative watercolor and watermedia workshops. "Observing beauty and patterns in our world and sharing my personal vision through the use of color and pattern is a continuing theme in my work." This exhibit should really highlight the passion for painting that our SDWS members consistently demonstrate. The show runs Feb 3 - 28 at the San Diego Watercolor Society Gallery, NTC at Liberty station. Wed-Sun: 1am-4pm First Friday opening reception is Feb. 5 from 5pm - 8pm. All are welcome ! The San Diego Watercolor Society, a non-profit art organization, celebrates over 50 years of being a promoter for the appreciation of and involvement in watermedia painting. SDWS operates a major Gallery and Education Center at the Galleries at NTC in Liberty Station and provides a wide array of services and activities that benefit the over 700 members and the public. These include monthly member art exhibits, an extensive art library, a full program of workshops, classes and artist demonstrations (open to members and non-members) and artist-led plein air painting opportunities.
